Some Useful Microsoft Keyboard Shortcuts and their Function.

Here you have some Microsoft Keyboard Shortcuts that are useful for quick access of some function on Windows.

Useful Microsoft Keyboard Shortcuts to Make you Work Faster
Below are the list of the available shortcut keys:

Windows System Shortcut Keys:

S/N Shortcut Key Function.
1. Windows Logo + F1 or F1 only Display Windows Help.
2. Windows Logo or Ctrl + Esc Display or Hide the Start Menu.
3. Alt Key + Tab Switch between opened Program.
4. Alt + F4 Quit Program.
5. Shift + Delete Delete Item without placing in Recycle bin.
6. Windows Logo + L Lock the Computer

Windows Program Shortcut Keys:

S/N Shortcut Key Function.
1. Ctrl + C Copy Item
2. Ctrl + X Cut Item
3. Ctrl + V Paste Copied / Cut Item
4. Ctrl + Z Undo Action
5. Ctrl + Y Redo Action
6. Ctrl + B Bold Character
7. Ctrl + U Underline Character
8. Ctrl + I Italicize Character
 

Mouse Click/Keyboard Modifier Shortcut Keys for Shell objects:

S/N Shortcut Key Function
1. Shift + Right Click Displays a shortcut menu containing Alternative Commands.
2. Shift + Double Click Runs the Alternative Default Command.
3. Alt + Double Click or Alt + Enter Display the Properties of the Selected Item.

General Keyboard – Only Command:

S/N Shortcut Key Function
1. F10 Activates Menu Bar options.
2. Shift + F10 Opens a shortcut Menu for the selected Item.
3. Ctrl + Shift + Esc Opens Windows Task Manager.
4. Alt + Left Arrow or Backspace Go back to the previous Window.
5. Alt + Tab Switch to another running program.
6. Hold the Shift Key while inserting your CD/DVD It makes you bypass the Auto play feature.
7. F2 Rename the selected Object
8. F3 Find all Files.
9. Ctrl + G Open Go To Folder (On windows 95 only)
10. Ctrl + A Select all Object

29. Num Lock + + sign Display the content of the selected Folder.
30. Num Lock + – sign Collapse the selected Folder.
